Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund or remedy for custom FDM-printed parts ordered through volufab.com. It supplements our Terms of Service. VoluFab is a trading name of Shandong Yinglong Zhilian Additive Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. Because every part is manufactured to your specification after you accept an order confirmation, the remedies below apply to verified production defects only.

1. Seven-Day Inspection Window

Inspect all parts on receipt. You must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery of any non-conformity with the confirmed specification, including photographs and a written description of the issue. After 7 days the parts are deemed accepted and no refund or remedy can be claimed.

2. Eligible Remedies for Production Defects

For a verified non-conformity caused by our production, our sole obligation and your exclusive remedy is, at our option, to reprint the part, repair it, or refund the price paid for the affected part. We will confirm the chosen remedy after reviewing your claim.

3. Exclusions

We are not responsible, and no refund is due, for defects or dissatisfaction arising from your design, CAD/STL file errors, material selection, post-processing you perform, assembly, or use beyond the published material properties. Cosmetic variations inherent to FDM printing that do not affect function are not defects.

4. How to Request a Remedy

Email hello@volufab.com with your order ID, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the part and the defect. We acknowledge claims within 5 business days and may request the part be returned for inspection before issuing a remedy.

5. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order, or as a store credit at your choice, within 14 business days of our confirmation of the defect.

6. Cancellation Before Production

Because parts are custom, an order cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started. Orders cancelled by us for technical, legal, export-control or intellectual-property reasons are refunded in full.
